Columbus To Face New York In MLS Cup

Columbus will face New York in next weekend's MLS Cup. The team from Gotham rode a 28th minute goal from Dave van den Bergh to yet another upset victory before a sellout crowd at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City.

This will be New York's first appearance in MLS Cup.

Columbus and New York previously faced each other in the playoffs in 1998, with Columbus advancing after a 5-3 win at home and a 2-1 shootout "win" at the Meadowlands.
